    Obesity is circumstances where there can be an abnormally unwanted and excessive fat in the storage area depots of your  body.
    Causes for obesity -

    1. Overeating - Excessive consumption of heavy to process, sweetened, and oily foods. Excessive intake of high caloric foods, processed, refined, junk or fast foods, sugar, and sweetened beverages etc.
    Eating disorders like Binge eating disorder.

    2. Physical inactivity - Lack of physical exercise, day time sleeping, sedentary life style etc.

    3. Psychological reasons - A number of social, and mental health factors like insufficient mental stress, joyous living etc. seem to be the most important stimuli to increased food intake.

    4. Economical background - Wealthy, and luxurious life is a common cause of over-weight.
    The expectation of life with obesity associated with well-known high standard living is far shorter than for people of ideal weight, and the incidence of most illness is more in the obese than in the normal one.

    4. Endocrinal causes - Endocrinal abnormalities are sometimes associated with increased body weight. Hypothyroidism, Cushing’s syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome etc. are examples. 
    In Hypothyroidism - typically lowers the energy requirement via reducing both BMR, and physical activities. Hypolgonadism additionally could be very liable to be associated with extra fat  deposits, particularly in the breast, hip, thigh, abdomen, face, neck, and trunk. Also increased activity of the adrenal cortex, often results in obesity.

    Management of obesity -

    1. Regular Physical exercise, Yoga and Asana may be helpful -

    Morning walk, jogging, cycling, light exercises etc. may be beneficial. These type of physical activities helps in burning of more calories. Excessive use of television, mobile games, videogames, and laptop must be better avoided.

    Matsyasana, Shavasana, Tadasana, Kapalabhati, Anuloma-viloma may reduce excessive body fat. 

    Behavioral changes may be helpful in some obesity cases.

    2. Drink one glass of water just before your meal because it may reduce a slight bit hunger movement. And also drink plenty of water through out the day because it helps in flushing out body toxins.

    3. Avoid sweets, sweetened food, and drinks, tea, coffee, cakes, bakery products, jam, chocolate, ice-cream, dried or tinned fruits, biscuits, toast, spaghetti, semolina, macaroni, cheese, cola drinks, oily food, junk foods, meat, poultry etc. Use saccharin for sweetening.

     4. Small food at frequent intervals is better than large meals of  2 - 3 times a day.

    5. Drink a spoonful of honey, and lemon juice on empty stomach with a glass of luke warm water, and eat 2-3 pieces of tomato in the morning.

    6. Liposuction.

    7. In patients with  diabetes mellitus (type 2) who are overweight, antidiabetic medications that have additional benefits to promote weight loss.

    8. Intake fewer calories in your diet (dietary - guidelines) - You can set a goal with your dietician that how much calories you can consume in a day for exact fitness. Your dietician can tell you the way to make wholesome modifications on your eating habits.

    9. Keep track of your body - weight  and BMI (body mass index). BMI is an estimation process of body fat.

    10. Diet control, dieting or fasting may be helpful sometimes.

    11. Alcohol (wines, beer, whisky etc.) should be avoided.

    12. Administration of honey - A teaspoon of honey along with a glass of luke warm water. Or take 1 glass of luke warm water and add 1 tsp of honey, and 1 tsp of lemon juice. Now drink this preparation in an empty stomach in the morning.
