    How to Prepare Chyawanprash at your home - Very Easy Method

    Everybody knows that Chyawanprash is one of most famous Ayurvedic  formulation, which is widely trusted for fight infections, coughs, colds, bronchitis, pulmonary tuberculosis, fever etc. and  popular as an antioxident, ayurvedic health tonic, rejuvenator, immunity enhancer etc. It works on the immune system by protecting the body and can be employed by any individuals such as children, old persons, women, and debilitated persons. This formulation made out of  different natural herbs and spices (generally used 25 - 40 ingredients of natural herb and spices in this formulation) including Amla (Indian gooseberry), the leading ingredient of chyawanprash
    and  world's richest natural way to obtain vitamin C, which fight against several sorts of infectious diseases. Regular usage of chyawanprash increases immunity power and, strengthens your body's defense system.

    HOW TO EASILY MAKE CHYAWANPRASH

    INGREDIENTS USED IN MAKING home made CHYAWANPRASH

       1. Amla - Indian gooseberry - Emblica officinalis - 2 kgs.

       2.     Sugar -  1 kg.

       3.     Honey 300 ml.

       4.     Deshi Ghee - 50 ml.

       5.     Til oil - 50 ml.

       6.     Chhoti elayachi - Green Cardamom- Elettaria cardamomum - 20 gms.

       7.     Lavang - Cloves - 20 gms.

       8.     Harad - Terminalia chebula - Chebulic Myrobalan - 50 gms.

       9.     Baheda - Bastard myrobalan - Terminalia belerica - 50 gms.

    10. Vanshlochan - Bamboo manna - Bambusa arundinacea - 20 gms.

    11. Sunthi - Ginger - Zingiber officinale - 25 Gms.

    12. Kaali maricha  -  Black pepper -  Piper nigrum - 20 gms.

    13. Jeera - Cumin - Cuminum cyminum - 20 gms.

    14.Darchini – Cinnamon - Cinnamomum aromaticum - 25 gms.

    15.Pipalli -  Long pepper- Piper longum - 20 gms.

    16. Jayphal - Nutmeg- 10 gms.

    17. Nagakeshar - 10 gms.

    18. Sounf -  Fennel  - Foeniculum vulgare - 25 gms.

    19.Tejpaat - Cinnamomum tamala - 5 gms.

    20. Guduchi - Tinspora cordifolia - 25 gms.

    21. Bala  - Country Mallow - Sida cordifolia - 25 gms.

    22.Kishmish-  Raisin - Vitis vinifera - 25 gms.

    23.Gokharu - Land caltrops - Tribulus terrestris - 20 gms.

    24.Punarnava - Hogweed - Boerhavia diffusa - 25 gms.

    25.Mulethi - Licorice - Glycyrrhiza glabra - 20 gms.

    26.Shatawari - Sparrow grass - Asparagus racemosus.

    METHOD OF PREPARING CHYAWANPRASH

    Wash Amla perfectly and make  holes by using  stainless steel fork.
    Now boil it in a stainless steel pot and allow it cool down. Then make it seeds - free. 
    Mash it perfectly and make a smooth paste.

    Make a fine powder of following herbs and spices -

    Chhoti elayachi.

    Lavang.

    Harad.

    Baheda.

    Vamshalochana.

    Sunthi.

    Kaali marich.

    Jeera.

    Darchini.

    Pipalli.

    Jayphal.

    Nagakeshar.

    Sounf.

    Tejpaat.

    Guduchi.

    Bala.

    Kishmish.

    Gokharu.

    Punarnava.

    Mulethi.

    Shatawari.

    When natural powder is ready then shieve and mix it in mashed Amla. Now put Til oil inside a heavy bottomed kadhai and heat on a low flame till moisture removed. Let mixture cool down. Again add honey and ghee in this mixture and stir well. After that you can preserve it in a air - tight container, made of plastic or glass. Now your Chyawanprash is ready for use.

    INDICATIONS OF CHYAWANPRASH - 

    You can consume it even in case you are not illed. Since, this can be a  well immune booster.

    Abdominal disorders -  constipation, indigestion, nausea, belching, acidity, flatulance etc.

    Pulmonary disorders - Common cold, Cough, Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis, Lung TB etc.

    It is a good memory enhancer.

    It prevent from heat stroke in summer season.

    Additionally it is  a useful remedy for sexual debility.

    It maintains your skin tones.

    It gets the capability to maintain senility and hold off aging.

    Some times it regarding menstrual irregularity in women.

    DOSAGES

    IN ADULTS -

    1 to 2 teaspoonful , 1 - 2 times daily.

    IN CHILDREN -

    1/4  to 1/2 teaspoon, once a day.

     Special precaustions -

    Although Chyawanprash is a safe formulation but also it is contraindicated in - 

    - Pregnant or nursing mothers.

    - Obesity (weight problem).

    - Diabetes mellitus (type 1 and type 2).
