    What's  Constipation?

    Constipation is a gastro-intestinal and digestive disorder among people that impacts all age ranges and better known as Vibandha in Ayurveda and  Malbaddhata or koshtabaddhata in Hindi terms, is thought as difficultly bowel evacuation. It is because faulty lifestyle and incorrect dietary routine and about 75% people are influencing with it.

    Measures, and Diet tips to avoid constipation

    High fiber content foods should be taken on daily basis.

    Two tablespoon Castor Oil shoud be taken at bed time.

    Avoid foods which contain white flour / maida, white sugar and other processed food items.

    Avoid unnecessary uses of laxatives and eat plenty of roughage instead of laxatives or purgatives.

    Eat at least two hours before bed time.

    Drink a lot of water. Drinking lukewarm water with lime juice is more beneficial in the case of constipation.

    Take warm milk before going to bed. 

    Copper vessel stored drinking water is more beneficial.

    Avoid caffeinated beverages like tea.

    Eat a great deal of green vegetables.

    Food should be properly chewed during meal - in taking.

    Proper cooked vegetables should be consumed.

    Eat only once you are feeling hunger movement in your  stomach.

    Avoid non-vegetarian products.

    Sleep at least 6 hours daily.

    Vegetables and fruits like radish, turnip, mango, apple, orange, carrot, tomato, bitter gourd, beetroot, cabbage, mints are useful in the case of constipation.

    Include fruits and veggies into your diet.

    Do light exercise, Asanas like Vajrasana, Halasana, Dhanurasana, Naukasana,  Trikonasana, Mayurasana, Sarvangasana, and Kapalbhati, Pranayama, Suryanamaskar, Sankha Prakshalan, meditation etc. tend to be helpful to reduce anxiety and mental tension to avoid constipation.

    Constipation triggering foods that  makes it worse like
    fried foods, cheese, pasta, burgers , cookies, cakes, pizzas, white flour /maida, refined flour, alcoholic beverages, oily food, junk foods, excessive salt, fats, biscuits, white sugar, egg are constipation triggering foods, so should be better avoided.
