    Composition and Active Ingredients of Sitopaladi Churna

    Sitopala/Mishri - Sugar candy - Rock Candy - 16 parts.

    Vanshalochana - Bamboo Manna - Bambusa arundinacea - 8 parts.

    Pippali - Long pepper - Piper longum - 4 parts.

    Chhoti Elayachi - Green Cardamom - Elleteria cardemomum - 2 parts.

    Dalchini - Cinnamon - Cinnamomum zeylanicum - 1 part.

    Dosage of Sitopaladi Churna

    1 - 3  gms. along with honey 2 - 3  times daily after food.

    Infants - 1 pinch of powder with honey 2 - 3 times daily after feeding.

    Children  -  4 - 5  pinch with honey  2- 3  times daily after food.

    Side effects of Sitopaladi Churna -

    Mild gastritis in heavy dose, especially if given before food.

     Diabetes mellitusas it contain suger candy.

    Nausea and vomiting sometimes if it is taken in empty stomach.

    Collect all ingredients as listed below - 

    Sitopala - Sugar candy - Rock Candy  powder - 80 gms.

    Vanshalochana - Bamboo Manna - Bambusa arundinacea - 40 gms.

    Pippali - Long pepper - Piper longum - 20 gms.

    Elaichi - Cardamom - Elleteria cardemomum  - 10 gms.

    Dalchini - Cinnamon - Cinnamomum zeylanicum - 5 gms.

    Make a fine powder independently after grinding them and blend well.
    Now Sitopaladi churna is all around prepared and ready to utilize. Now  preserve it in an air-tight container and place at dry out place.
